Beto`s Mexican Restaurant 2 in Grand Prairie

Happened to stop here this weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and service was fine. Plates were simple but tasty. The prices were moderate. Menu had a little something for everyone. Overall experience was pleasant. Please hit "like" if this review helped you.

It seems like lately, I’ve been doing way too much. So making time for family dinner was very important. We decided to eat at Beto’s tonight. The customer service was amazing! They couldn’t have been more welcoming and kind ❤️

I had a pretty good experience!! The service and food was great. The waiter was pretty attentive and made sure we were good at all times. I recommend this place to go have some food and drinks!

This restaurant only good for chip and salsa or queso. That can be up for discussion based on your taste buds. The Miami Vice Drink was awesome. Food was very bland, service was good. This is not a restaurant to keep coming back to.

I just moved here from Miami, FL and was looking to try some new local grub. Enter Betos! Stopped for lunch here after shopping at the outlets and let me say that this is some of the freshest, tastiest Mexican food I’ve ever had. I picked the Chile Relleno and not only was it super tasty, but it was so much food i couldn’t finish the entire plate. I paired it with a house frozen margarita and my bill maxed out at $15. That’s a crazy good deal! Not only is the food top quality and at a great price, but this restaurant is family owned. And the building itself is absolutely gorgeous! Great for parties, birthdays, etc without breaking the budget. I will probably having my birthday dinner here! Thank you, Betos, you knocked it outta the park on this one!

The food was great and came out quickly. The Chicken fajitas were sizzling and super hot. The chips arrived fresh and warm. I love the salsa as it had a nice kick to it. As you can see from the picture the portions are generous which allowed for three really big fajitas. I recommend Beto's. It is family friendly with lots of space and booths to your liking. The portions alone are the reason to take the family as you will leave satisfied. #organicad

The blue margarita was delicious...I don’t remember the name but it was good! I went for the yummy cheese enchilada with rice and beans! It was delicious! My son went for the fries and well I ate the corn dog!😬😂 If you like the corn dogs from Sonic...you will like these!

Prices and drinks are good, food is okay. Not somewhere I will be returning.

Such a great to place to come and eat with the family. Thursday’s kids eat free which is amazing! The food always comes out hot and fresh! Will definitely be back

I was so excited to try and maybe it's not so good because everything is takeout but everything was bland, needed salt and hot sauce. They didn't give any silverware with out to go order (side note the hotel didn't have any either. It's not easy to eat a smothered burrito with your fingers. Overall just disappointed and frustrated with it all

Went here with family. The food was pleasant. But the booth I sat at was falling apart, the cushion was slipping off. The waitress also seemed impatient. There was a lot of food though, it was a good/big portion that satisfied our hunger.

Friendly staff, great good. Very quick service for lunch. The fajita quesadillas are great.

Best Chile Rellenos I have had here in Dallas/grand prairie area!! I absolutely loved the experience, very family style and servers are great! In over all experience I really recommend this place! Tasty for sure!!

Enjoyed the never ending enchilada plate and the sampler platter with a guest. Very good prices for the amount of food. The enchilada special is a good deal! Lots of drink options, will be returning!

Good service but aweful food. Beans and rice taste like elementary cafeteria food but that may even be better than Beto's. The tortillas tastes likes paper, like what a beauty of an establishment to have such bad food. For the price this place is just terrible.

We stopped here one night on our way home for dinner. It wasn't super busy so we got right in. Wait staff was attentive and nice. Food was good. The flauta's were very good along with their salsa. And we got a lot of food too. We will be back if we are in the neighborhood again.

Took over 15 mins to get our food after waiter took our order. When the food arrived my wife's order was not correct and only slightly warm. All in all it is still a decent place for Mexican food. Will we be back soon? Not likely but if someone offers us to meet there for a meal it will be hard to turn them down.

This was my first time to eat at Beto's. My husband chose this place as a late bday dinner. We were not disappointed in our choices of meals either. Not to mention the huge margaritas we got. All in all it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.

A Mexican food joint discriminating on their own! Shame!!! My husbands food was cold. He has to wait 5 minutes longer than the rest of us to get ice tea.Yes we could have left and gone elsewhere. With things being the way they are they just appreciate they our businesses today and today ONLY.

I've been going there since they were on 303 in Grand Prairie and I followed them to 20, the Chimichangas or off the chain, if your enchilada eater try the stacks, they're to die for or just get a fajita for two you'll always have food to take home. The flavor the seasoning is to perfection and the margaritas will keep you coming enjoy your meal and keep a lookout for their daily specials they're totally worth it😋 all the waiters are amazing but if you want the best in the house ask for Ernie.😉 but I always calling my ErnestoS. First time dining at Beto's and this may turn into a favorite spot. While the wait was long on a Saturday evening, we were able to quickly find a spot for 2 at the bar. Service at the bar was excellent. They quickly took our drink order and brought us chips and salsa. Our food order was brought out quickly and everything was delicious. We ordered the Chile relleno plate and shrimp tacos and both were great.

I liked this Mexican Restaurant. The place was decorated for the culture. The service was good. The food tasted great. The meal started with chips and salsa. The salsa was not all the way to my taste but the combo was good. The dip was great. The Layered Dip was the highlight of the food this night. I had not tasted this at other restaurants. I am glad I found it here. The rest of the meal was good.

Our Waiter was awesome. I didnt catch his name though. Food was not good really. Husbands meat was really tough. He had the beef taco salad. My nieces chimichanga had tons of onion. Cheese Cake was Delicious

Very friendly and helpful waitress. Salsa is perfect. Shrimp tacos are so good. They have fried onion strips in them. The charro beans are awesome. Beef nachos are huge and wonderful. Seriously loved this place! Can’t believe I haven’t tried it yet! I will be back.

Loved this place made a review through my other Gmail account. But don't hurt to make another. Hector and the owner was super helpful and welcoming. Next time I pass through Texas I'll definitely be stopping by. ...Thanks Texas RH for being closed I was able to try Betos so glad I did. my steak was well done I asked for medium well. Manager made it tight and insisted I kept the other steak as well. Hector helped me in choosing a great meal and drinks was on point.

Beto's is our families favorite local family owned restaurant to go get great food for a great prices. It's always clean and the staff are all amazing. During these times it's even more important to support your local family owned businesses and trust me this is definitely one of them. So if your a faithful customer or a first time customer please help keep this business going. OK run of the mill Mexican restaurant. The food was good, but nothing to write home about, definitely better then some. We enjoyed our experience and the waiter was great.

Our party was greeted with a smile, and the employees seemed very nice. This was my first time here, and I felt that the food was good. They have large appetizers, and the guacomole was freshly made. I really like the thin chips, but felt that the salsa, although flavorful, was to watery. Over all, I would say I'd definitely go back again, for a quick bite to eat.

I've passed by this restaurant multiple times and decided to see what it was about. My waitress, Stephanie, was the best. Exceptionally attentive from the time I sat down up to me leaving. Unfortunately, the food or drinks were not as good. Mediocre at best. I feel it didn't have enough flavor. Just basic.

The website posted open until 9. We got there at 7:44; no complaints about food or service. It was good, not spectacular but we would have been more impressed had the service been better. We ordered and before we could put a to-go order in for our kids at 8 were told the kitchen was closing. We were given our bill before we could ask for dessert. Then before we finished our meal the chairs were up on the other tables and the music shut off; left to listen to the kitchen music. Needless to say we left quickly and were on the road by 8:44. Our only night out without kids, looking forward to a home style, family owned place we sought out specifically and were disappointed. We brought my father-in-law here from Maine with stage 4 cancer to experience new things and this was not what we had hoped for.

This is a wonderful, great place to eat, one of our favorites. Fresh, tasty Mexican food. The staff is awesome, always helpful. The margaritas are the BEST.

This was the first restaurant we went to when we moved to Grand Prairie in 2014. We have been back several times since then. It is a locally-owned restaurant and not a chain, but you get the feeling that it's been part of the Grand Prairie community for a long time. The people who work here are really friendly. The food is very good if you like Tex-Mex. Beto's offers an all-you-can-eat Enchilada special daily and who can resist THAT?! Try it if you haven't. You'll be glad you did.

Truly disappointed, my sister and I went after wedding shopping with our families had lack luster service! We got there and waited 10 minutes to even get our drinks while servers contemplated who was taking our large table, another 15 to be able to get our queso That was “being made fresh but came out cold” our food came out wrong! out of everything the only saving grace was that the manager discounted part of our meal. After telling me that he knew that he was out of things and didn’t come over and explain anything before our food came out. Probably won’t be returning. Which makes me sad since we are in the area and love Mexican food! My about to be brother in laws food was very good.

Best keto meal ever! I went to Beto’s Mexican Restaurant today and saw that they had a Fajita Taco Salad with the option to get it ‘naked’ (no shell). I think this will be my new favorite place!

By FAR the best Mexican food and drinks we’ve had in a long long time!!! I highly recommend! Large portions, family friendly, full bar, lots of menu options, great salsa chips and queso! Margaritas are delicious! We will be back for sure!!! Great place for date night too!!
